Der Tag des Doktors 3D (OV) – 23.11.2013

For the 50th anniversary the BBC released "Doctor Who" worldwide in Cinemas. As well as here in Germany in over 50 Cinemas. Up to that date the biggest "Doctor Who" Happening in Germany ever. After the event there were over 10 thousand reported participant. A huge milestone which should become a huge impact for the future of "Doctor Who" in Germany.

Tief Durchatmen (OV) – 23.08.2014

After the huge success of "Der Tag des Doktors" they were really quick to give the Fans more. The very next Episode "Tief Durchatmen" wich was the beginning of the eigth series and also the first proper Episode for the new twelth Doctor was used to get the Fans once more into German Cinemas.

Additionally to the Episode there were 15 Minutes of Extras that were shown alongside the Episode.

Besuch bei River Song (OV) – 28.01.2016

After the inital success of the first two screenings "Doctor Who" had a longer rest form the big Screen here in Germany. But as a one time exclusive and slightly late Special Screening the Christmas Special "Besuch bei River Song" found its way into Cineplex Cinemas.

The Screenings took place in following Cinemas: Augsburg, Berlin, Bielefeld, Bremen, Dresden, Essen, Freiburg, Göttingen, Halle, Hannover-Raschplatz, Heilbronn, Hamburg-Dammtor, Kiel, Krefeld, Magdeburg, Mülheim, München, Offenbach, Oldenburg, Regensburg, Stuttgart-Liederhalle, Sindelfingen, Trier, Wolfsburg, Wuppertal und Würzburg.

 

Flucht durchs Universum, Der lächelnde Tod & Am Rande der Vernichtung – 24.09.2018

For the occasion of newly Dubbing "Doctor Who"s very first Episodes and the newly Started Series 10 Polyband and Kinopolis brought the show once more into German Cinemas.

This should be the first and only occasion that an Episode of the Classic Era of "Doctor Who" was shown in German Cinemas.

Aus der Zeit gefallen (OV) – 25 & 26.12.2017

Fitting to the British Broadcasting of the Christmas-Special "Aus der Zeit gefallen" Cineplex/Cinestar and Cinemaxx showed it in their Cinemas.

Additionaly there were a bunch of Bonus Features to be shown like a look behind the Scenes and the featurette "The End of an Era".

Two months after its initial release the Special got a limited Run in selected German Cinemas.

Additionaly there were Bonus Features to be shown like a Look Back, a Making-Of and a View on the new Monster.

Die Macht des Doktors (OV) – 26.10.2022 19:30 Film Festival Cologne

For the 100th Anniversary of the BBC this Special of one of its biggest Shows this Special was shown at the Cologne Film Festival.

As far as our Informations are going this was the first and only time a "Doctor Who" Episode was shown at an German Movie Festival.
