The twelth Doctor, portrayed by Peter Capaldi, brought again a more dark and compley note to the character.

In difference to his predecessors he was often direct demanding and impatient what gave him a hard but fascinating presence. At the same time his deep moralic thoughts and the confrontation with his own identy contributed that his incarnation was regarded as a character who thinks about his past and his responsibility.
